The Essex Silver Line SL‑8 / 8V2 is an 8 inch walk‑behind drum floor sander with a slow, constant drum speed (about 1800 RPM) to reduce the risk of gouging and wave marks, even in less‑experienced hands.

It uses a soft rubber‑covered, aluminum drum and a V2 hook‑and‑loop for quick paper changes, plus a sealed 115V motor, front tilt‑action control, built‑in dust bag, and 25 ft cord
